Hey Guys,
UFC 282 had a couple more decisions that lead to the conclusion that the UFC sport is fixed. Discrimination against Russian fighters in favor of white marketable UFC favorites seems over-done.
I’m not alone in my sentiment this time either: Pimblett won the co-main event of the evening via a unanimous decision. However, many fans and pros disagreed with the outcome of what was a close contest.
I’m not exactly sure if the UFC is bribing the judges or what is going on.
I really don’t understand why the UFC thinks Paddy is a marketable fighter.
It’s actually a disgrace.
Did you see the fight?
UFC Fighters and former fighters had this to say:
Watching the UFC in 2022 has been like this, to the point where I barely turn in any longer:
The UFC keeps pumping up white kids, and it’s pretty non-inclusive.
But how to reconcile this latest card and its decisions?
The main event was equally as bad! Another anti-Russian decision.
There’s a certain sense if irony when the judges are supposedly independent from UFC management. It was a disappointing ending to a brisk, entertaining fight. Pimblett is the bigger name and had the hype behind him. The crowd at T-Mobile Arena was loudly in his corner and cheered him lustily throughout. The UFC just cannot tolerate its picks losing, that’s Paddy or Sean. I hope this isn’t a pattern that will continue into 2023.
At least Sean O’Malley has some charisma.
Shock erupted from UFC fighters after Pimblett took home a unanimous decision over Jared Gordon, who repeatedly cracked him with hard punches in the first and second frames before grinding out a third round.
It’s starting to get awkward as fuck.
You could make a compelling case that the UFC is rigged at this point.
At least Jared can defend himself in English, not the case for those Russian Fighters.
I want to cover good MMA sports, but this again wasn’t that.
“He can take a punch,” Pimblett added. “I was hitting him with some big shots and he kept coming forward. Hands off to Jared, he’s a great fighter and a phenomenal human being.”
Prior to the fight last night, Pimblett has had three fights in the UFC, all being finished within two rounds. However, his victory against Gordon went the distance with the judges scoring the fight 29-28 on the scorecards, proving it was his toughest battle to date.
The stats, not the crowd or your face need to be the judge.
Again it appears takedowns and control time haven’t been equated properly in the cards of the judges. It was the same with the Sean O’Malley fight not too long ago.
Both Pimblett and Gordon were virtually equal with how many punches they threw during the fight.
But according to FullCombat, it was Jared Gordon who came out on top wrestling, controlling the fight for over six minutes. While Baddy only had control of the fight for a measly 35 seconds.
Someone please K.O. Paddy the Baddy, it’s just so ridiculous.
Thanks for reading!
Good thing for Uncle Dana no one can understand what Wanderlei Silva is saying - he swears he has evidence the UFC has been fixing fights since the Golden Age. As for Paddy, he would be wise to secure his rotgut whiskey endorsement before he has to fight anyone in the top ten.
